In 1888 J.B. Dunlap developed the inner tube, and gained the name, "Father of the Pneumatic Tire".  What a tremendous advancement this was from the old hard rubber, bone jarring wheels then in use. 

For all of the tremendous comforts and advantages he delivered with this invention, he also, along with this distinction, unwittingly became the "father of the flat tire".  For the next 100 years man was plagued by these flats, until in 1982 when the original formula that we now sell as Flat Attack Tire Sealant was introduced on the market.  (Originally, No Flats Tire Sealant)

Flat Attack Sealant Co., LLC is a small family owned company who mixes their sealant and fills each bottle all by hand.  We are small enough to care about each and every bottle and try to make each one with the same care.

J.B. Dunlap did his part by bringing us the comfort of riding on air.  It is our goal to more fully utilize his invention by keeping the air inside the tire where it belongs.  With the use of Flat Attack products we know you will have many miles of flat free riding!
